Hello and welcome back! With London Fashion Week upon us (yay!) I thought I'd share my illustrated city beauty essentials. The products that boost my mood, confidence and energy levels on days spent gallivanting around in the city.
Rose Hydrate Claming Creamy Cleanser by Una Brennan
I always start the day with my skincare routine, as it helps to make me feel relaxed and refreshed. First step is cleansing, for this I have been loving the Una Brennan Rose cleanser. It has a lovely, uplifting floral scent, and is great for dry skin, as the cream formula doesn't strip the skin or leave it tight, instead, skin is left is comfortably hydrated and soft. I also use it at the end of the day after micellar water or an oil to milk pre-cleanse formula for gentle but thorough cleansing.
GinZing Energy Boosting Moisturiser by Origins
My favourite part of my beauty regime. After cleansing, I like to apply this silky smooth textured moisturiser by Origins. It has a beautiful zesty citrus scent, helping both me and my skin wake up and face the day!
Lime Lip Balm by Hurraw!
I am a lip balm addict. I've tried quite a few in my time, but the lip balms from Hurraw! are by far the front runners in the game. They leave my lips feeling smooth and conditioned without being heavy, leaving a strange residue, or the need to constantly reapply them to relieve dryness. Easy to have on hand in their very slim packaging. What's more they are raw, organic, fairtrade and vegan. I also love the Chocolate and Chai Spice flavours. Mm, Chai Lattes....
Thick & Fast Super Volume Mascara by Soap & Glory
This mascara is my best friend for the city, and everywhere else. It lengthens, curls and volumises my lashes without a clump in sight, and it lasts all day without transferring down my face, even in humidity.
Blackberry & Bay Cologne by Jo Malone
And finally, fragrance. Blackberry & Bay is the ultimate Autumn/Winter scent. With a top note of blackberry, and a heart of bay and cedarwood, the fragrance opens with a bright, fruity burst, and as it wears becomes more dry and woody. I love it. I was going to wait to purchase another bottle, as they are an investment, (and mine is on it's last few sprays... *wipes away a single tear*) but writing this blog post has me in desperate need of one now!
I hope you enjoyed my first beauty post! Do you love any of these products? What are your beauty must haves for a day in the city? Leave your comments below....
